Aside from performing all the normal functions of a slit lamp, the ELANp provides unparalled optics for observing and documenting. With it’s progressive engineering and network capabilities, the ELANp will out perform its competition in every way.

The microscope head is the latest in a series of new technological breakthroughs that are incorporated in this new Elan series slit lamp. The microscope eyepieces are larger in diameter to facilitate unprecedented viewing. High-eyepoint optics with superior lenses are formated and angled for true parallel to converging ease.

With one hand the physician can easily operate the three axis joystick , the illumination intensity, camera photo/video start capture and end capture. All of the light tower controls such as slit angle, tilt, width, aperture and diffuser are intuitively placed. These features are also enhanced with a beam size doubler and the co-axial background illuminator.

The ELANp has been designed to take advantage of the latest DSLR technologies which in turn, extends exam possibilites to new heights.
